How proarbeit uses an AI assistant in CASEnet to free up time for case work More time for people rather than administration
Digitalization has long been a part of everyday life at proarbeit. Most work steps are already carried out via CASEnet or other digital solutions, but reports, journal entries and correspondence still took up a lot of time. The company therefore wanted a solution that would ease the burden for employees without compromising the quality of the work. The answer was Momo.

Initial situation and challenge
Digitalization has long been a part of everyday life at proarbeit. For several years now, most work steps in the field of work integration have been carried out via CASEnet: from recording personal data to e-mailing and reporting. The processes are efficient, which means the number of clients supported is correspondingly high.
proarbeit also uses UUNIK, a digital platform that’s linked to CASEnet and offers courses and workshops on-site. On the platform, clients work independently and actively manage their own process.
However, a pattern persisted that couldn’t be streamlined away. Journal entries, extensive reports and e-mails took up a lot of time that could have been better spent on the core task of supporting people.
This observation led to a specific question: how can this time be freed up without compromising the quality of the work?
The solution
From the initial prototype to real support
The first versions of Momo showed potential, but soon reached their technical limits. The solution was further developed through close collaboration. Requirements arose directly from proarbeit’s everyday work and were tested immediately after implementation. This interplay of development and practice resulted in a solution that met actual requirements.
The ideas for this came from proarbeit itself. Marc Fritsche from Fritsche Engineering AG and Diartis Solutions AG handled the technical implementation.
The breakthrough
The decisive breakthrough was achieved by fundamentally reshaping the solution. Instead of having individual functions, Momo was deeply integrated into CASEnet. That way, employees can use AI directly where their data is already available, without the need for additional external tools. Momo can also link existing information based on context.
During the development phase, particular attention was paid to data protection. As Momo works exclusively within the existing CASEnet system, the applicable data protection requirements are consistently complied with.
Supported use cases
- Generate reports automatically
- Create journal entries
- Write e-mails
- Provide knowledge
The breakthrough was reflected not only in time savings, but also in everyday life. Employees increasingly discovered new uses, developed their own prompts and actively integrated AI into their working methods. Today, Momo is seen as a support tool: it promotes quality and efficiency and creates more space for professional responsibility and personal discussion.
« The moment we really neatly integrated the solution was the turning point. It suddenly became clear that it now works in everyday life and brings real added value. »
Jan Baumann, Managing Director of proarbeit AG
Features and benefits
Today, Momo is firmly anchored in proarbeit’s everyday working life. The AI assistant not only helps with individual tasks, it also shapes the overall way of working. A report no longer begins on a blank sheet of paper, but with an initial draft by Momo. The professional judgement always remains with the person who knows the case.
Employees no longer switch between different programmes. In the case of time-consuming tasks such as reporting, this creates a noticeable reduction in workload and frees up time for the actual case work.
An initial idea gave rise to a tool that is continually being developed. The success lies in the fact that the solution not only works technically, but also makes a real difference in everyday life.
Benefits at a glance
- More time for working directly with clients
- Reduced administrative workload
- Reports created directly in CASEnet
- No need to use external AI tools
